Tina Buchanan, MSW - CEO
Tina has been working with older adults for the past 15 years. She began her career working as Social Services Director for numerous skilled nursing facilities, then went on to serve her community for almost 10 years as a field Social Worker for Home Health Companies. During these years she saw a gap in the healthcare system and knew she wanted to spend the rest of her career serving as an advocate for her clients. Tina founded Visionary Care Consultants in San Diego in 2017 and has recently expanded service to other regions including Middle Tennessee. She also is the co-founder of a non-profit called Vets for Elders which serves low income elders in California. Tina has her Master’s degree in Social Work from San Diego State University and is a professional member of the Aging Life Care Association. Tina's passion is assisting families with navigating the complexities of care options associated with aging. She will connect you with vetted resources in your local community and support you in making challenging decisions. Her mission is to alleviate overwhelm and give families peace of mind knowing their loved ones have the care they deserve. She believes that everyone deserves to age with dignity and integrity.
