Scott Shafer
As a principal in Deloitte Tax LLP, Scott Shafer serves as Deloitte’s Global and US SAP Tax Alliance Leader. In this role, he leads a number of SAP tax initiatives, including assisting large US multinational clients with SAP Tax Integration to properly integrate complex US direct and indirect tax regulations as well as the rapidly changing global tax regulations. Scott also has assisted many companies with the development of the SAP/Tax value proposition – typically a very substantial component of an overall SAP business case – that highlights the importance of necessity of tax integration into large SAP programs.
