Jan De Clercq
Jan De Clercq is a tax technology partner within Deloitte’s Tax Management Consulting (TMC) Practice. He is currently based in the Netherlands after working both in the US (San Francisco/New York) and the Global Tax Center in Brussels. He leads Deloitte’s European SAP Tax alliance. For more than 20 years, Jan primarily focuses on delivering strategic guidance and innovative tax automation technologies to help businesses digitize and advance their tax functions including ERP Tax Integration and tax data management. Jan is supporting many global organizations in defining their tax technology strategy and roadmap to move to a “real time digital tax function”. Jan is a member of Deloitte’s Global TMC Executive and part of the SAP/Deloitte leadership team on co-innovating in the SAP S/4 HANA arena related to the SAP Global Tax Management Solutions. Jan holds a degree in accounting and tax and is a recognized tax advisor under the NOB (Dutch Tax Association) and IAB (Belgian Tax association).
