Kerry Forrestal, MD
Dr. Kerry Forrestal, MD was first exposed to the field of medicine in 1979 at age 16. When he was 18, he became one of the youngest people to be licensed as an EMT in NY. He attended Binghamton University, earning a BS with majors in Biology and Psychology, which he followed with an MBA. After this, he joined the NYANG 106th Air Rescue Wing where he served as a Commander’s Advisor on diversity. In 1995, he decided to pursue a medical degree at The Renaissance School of Medicine at the State University of New York, Stony Brook University. After his residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, he became board certified in Emergency Medicine and has since worked in trauma centers. Dr. Forrestal has taught medicine at The University of Maryland Eastern Shore, an Historically Black College/University. He is the Ambassador to Ireland for the American College of Emergency Physicians.
