Jacklyn Zeman
Jacklyn Zeman is a mother, actress, author, TV/radio host and designer. She is well-known as ‘Bobbie Spencer’ Chief Surgical RN on ABC’s “General Hospital” and is currently appearing as ‘Sofia Madison’ on indie drama “The Bay.” She is also featured on indie series “Misguided” as ‘Mo’ which earned her two Independent Series Awards nominations for Supporting Actress in a comedy/drama. She has performed in several off-Broadway and community productions, including “Menopause the Musical.” Feature film credits include “National Lampoon’s Class Reunion,” “The Day the Music Died,” and more. Jacklyn is a frequent guest on TV’s top talk shows such as “Good Morning America,” “Oprah,” and “The View.” She was featured on syndicated radio show “Home Tips,” and hosted “Soap Talk” for The ABC Radio Network and “Our Time” on Sirius Satellite Radio. Jackie has written two books, Beauty on the Go and Turn Your Acting Talent Into a Successful Career. She has received numerous awards for her work with non-profits such as the Leukemia Society and the American Heart Association, including the Gabriel Project’s Distinguished Achievement Award for her continued support for African children in critical need of life-saving heart surgery. Jacklyn’s honors and awards include five Daytime Emmy nominations, including a nomination for Outstanding Lead Actress in 1998, two ISA Award nominations, a Soap Opera Digest Award and the Hollywood International Favorite Actress Award.
