Marieclaire Mutamba
My name is Marieclaire Mutamba, and I am a senior at Andover high school. I participate in a lot of clubs, National Honors Society, Leo (volunteering club), Student Council, Voices/ Women's group which is our multicultural club, and I am also class president. I’m also involved in sports, so I do cross- country, nordic, and track, keeping me very busy. I joined DROP (Different Races Organizing Peace), because I stand behind the “unofficial” mission statement, that is, making Andover high school a more equitable place that fits the needs of all students. I believe for students to best learn, they need to feel heard, so I try to use my voice to advocate for those that don’t know how to speak. Outside of school I love to read and write poetry/ spoken word, and I love to cook. Spending quality time is a love language of mine, so I like to be around my family and friends.
