Lyhnsay Yang
My name is Lyhnsay Yang, and I am a current senior at Andover High School. While I participate in Leo Club, National Honors Society, Orchestra, and more, this is the first year I’ve joined D.R.O.P (Different Races Organizing Peace). With D.R.O.P, I’ve advocated for racial equity by creating an “End Racism” pledge banner for my school, initiating my school’s first equity student panel, and most notably, speaking at an Anoka Hennepin School Board Meeting. Outside of school, I play 4 instruments, hang out with my family, and love watching horror gameplays. Next fall, I plan to attend UW Madison on a full ride and will continue to advocate and fight for racial equity!
