Olivia Lien
Hi my name is Olivia Lien, I am a junior at Andover high school in Andover, Minnesota. I have been playing tennis for 4 years and am currently on my school’s varsity team. I also love music and have been playing piano for five years, and have been in choir for six. My current GPA is 3.9 and I’m a part of the National Honor Society. Surprisingly, I actually enjoy public speaking and actively participate in my school’s speech and debate teams discussing politics and world issues. However I didn’t always fully understand the importance of racial equity, and it wasn’t until the murder of George Floyd, that I truly realized how racism still exists and persists in our society. I joined D.R.O.P because I want to use my voice to make change, and hopefully make schools better for future generations.
