Dr. Lauren Leiva
Dr. Lauren Leiva, DPT, and owner/founder of The Exerscience Center in Lutz, FL develops a customized treatment plan that combines traditional physical therapy techniques and programs to enhance recovery, improve strength, and boost overall health. Being a mother, wife, Crohn's disease survivor, she understands the industry from the patient/client perspective. Since the age of 13, she was a chronic patient with numerous hospitalizations, this also required intensive rehabilitation not just for the body, but for the mind as well. This is why she changed her path from a medical degree to a Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree, Yoga instructor, certified personal trainer, and nutritionist.
