Judy Graham
Judy Graham (she/her) is the founder of WomenHood Counselling in Australia, and is a Licenced Gateway Women Reignite Facilitator. She provides specialised support for women who are childless not by choice, due to infertility or circumstances. Judy is involuntarily childless by circumstances. She knows the profound grief of unfulfilled motherhood is often compounded by disenfranchisement and invisibility, and that giving voice to the experience is integral to healing. Judy is committed to providing therapeutic support that puts women and their unique experiences of childlessness at the centre of care. Judy is a registered counsellor and draws on over twenty-five years’ experience working in community-based organisations, including a decade working in the sexual and reproductive health sector. Via WomenHood Judy supports women who are childless to grieve, honour and understand their experiences as they readjust to a life they didn’t expect and connect with new hopes and possibilities. Judy is an active member of a grassroots network in Australia that is working to establish advocacy efforts that promote the experience, inclusion and contribution of childless people.
