Dr. Clifford Stoll
Cliff Stoll gained worldwide attention as an astronomer as well as a cybersecurity investigator from his bestselling book, The Cuckoo’s Egg: Tracking a Spy Through the Maze of Computer Espionage. In it he describes the true story of how he caught a ring of hackers who stole secrets from military computer systems and sold them to the KGB in 1986. Cliff Stoll wrote the famous and groundbreaking dissertation, “Polarimetry of Jupiter at Large Phase Angles.” Cliff also creates and sells Klein bottles and a wide range of other products. Dr. Stoll also wrote 'Silicon Snake Oil' and 'High-Tech Heretic: Reflections of a Computer Contrarian.'
