Sharon Galway
Sharon Galway Sharon, a Registered Nurse with a BSc degree, has over 30 years experience in health care, education and training. She has advocated for seniors as a regional Consultant with Ontario’s Strategy to Combat Elder Abuse. And she has worked as a Home Care Case Manager. While working in the community with seniors and through her advocacy and other work she recognized the need for new models of care, especially to help seniors to maintain their independence and to age well at home. Because Home Instead Senior Care’s model of care promotes the independence and successful aging at home of seniors and because its principles and values so closely align with her own, she decided to have her own Home Instead Senior Care office. Doing this, she knew, would ensure that care with compassion would remain an integral part of her life. She regularly appears as a guest speaker at senior-related events as well as organizing educational lectures on Elder Care.
