LaVonne Weaver
La Vonne A. Weaver was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri by an amazing single mom. Although Catherine Weaver transitioned in 2019, she has definitely left her daughter with a legacy of love and service daughter. La Vonne is an educator, writer, and artist with over 25 years of experience in teaching and leadership. She also has over 15 years of retail and customer service experience. La Vonne comes from a long line of educators and she was born to create! Her passion for art and fashion led her first to earn a Bachelor of Science Degree in Fashion Merchandising from Philadelphia College of Textiles and Science (currently Philadelphia Jefferson University). Later, destiny guided La Vonne to enroll at St. Joseph’s University, where she earned multiple Masters’ Degrees in Elementary Education, Education Leadership, and Curriculum & Instruction. She is also a certified Program Specialist for English Language Learners (ELL). LaVonne is blessed to be certified in mental health first aid. She believes everyone deserves to take time for themselves. Health is wealth. As the Chief Encouragement Officer of Liv Vibrantly by LV. Over the past five years, La Vonne’s role as an educator has deeply inspired her own self-care journey. She believes, “Self-care is an invitation to love who we are now and embrace who we becoming with compassion. I am grateful that God has given me the opportunity to contribute to the world today as a creative light and voice of encouragement.“
