Elizabeth ?? Smith, PsyD, CCTP-II, ASDCS (She/Her/Hers) Dr. Smith is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist based out of Chicago who speaks English and conversational Korean. Her mother is Korean and her father is a disabled US Army veteran. She was born abroad and moved to the States in her childhood.  With several relocations and neurodiverse presentations in her multilingual family, her training in psychology began early on. Dr. Smith earned her Masters and Doctorate of Clinical Psychology at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology and is currently licensed in both IL and IN as well as having the interjurisdictional ability to provide telehealth in over 30 states participating in PSYPACT. She provides care through a relational, collaborative, neurodivergent affirming, social justice, and trauma informed lens. She utilizes evidence based trauma treatments such as EMDR along with play, expressive art, Geek Therapy, and honors ancestral healing practices. Dr. Smith is also part of an APA accredited training team, supervising emerging psychologists with a passion for supporting their work with culturally & neurologically diverse individuals. Dr. Smith also enjoys volunteering with nonprofits such as the AMHC, KAWA, & co-founded NAAAP-Chicago’s Wellness Program. She has spoken nationally on panels such as C2E2, WonderCon, and SDCC to advocate for diversity in media, access to healthcare, & the use of pop culture in therapy.
