D.J. Kristoff
Adventurer and award-winning teacher D.J. (Diane) Kristoff earned the nickname “Dino Diane” by digging dinosaurs at the excavation site of Jurassic Park’s real paleontologist. A female version of Indiana Jones, Kristoff has whitewater rafted through the Grand Canyon, scuba-dived the Great Barrier Reef, and explored the Pyramids and the tombs of Egypt’s pharaohs. She’s discovered that kids learn best through adventures, so she’s incorporated her real-life experiences into a magical science adventure book series. Kristoff has witnessed firsthand how our youth are becoming dangerously disconnected from nature. After withdrawing into their screens, the growing number of young people struggling with anxiety and depression is staggering. Dino Diane’s mission is to inspire our youth to expand their world beyond their screens and build confidence and self-reliance. It’s all about getting kids into better mental health by adventuring in nature. Learn more www.DinoDianesAdventures.com
