Amy C Moors
Dr. Amy C. Moors is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Chapman University. She serves as a Research Fellow at The Kinsey Institute at Indiana University and the co-chair of the American Psychological Association’s Division 44 Committee on Consensual Non-Monogamy. Amy’s research focuses on gender, sexuality, inclusion, and well-being. Her goal is to use science to address social issues such as systemic discrimination with the hope of moving up and onward. Along with over 50 peer-review journal articles and book chapters, Amy has published widely for the public, including dozens of policies, white papers, and brochures for mental health practitioners. Her work has been featured in The New York Times, The Atlantic, CBS, and Scientific American and her research has garnered over $1 million in grant funding. Amy has received several awards for her pioneering research on polyamorous, swinging, and other forms of consensually non-monogamous relationships, including the Kenneth R. Haslam, MD, Relationship Diversity Research Award, the Distinguished Professional Contribution Award from the American Psychological Association Division 44, and the Outstanding Theoretical Paper Award from the Society for the Scientific Study of Sexuality.
