Amanda Monize
Amanda Monize is a Native Arizonan, growing up between Cave Creek and Scottsdale. As a child she spend a lot of time outdoors, camping with her family. From these early experiences she learned to be a good steward of the land and appreciate all that nature has to offer. Amanda always had a thirst for knowledge. At an early age she was interest in all things science, wanting to gain an understanding of how the world works. This led her to the education field and for the last 10 years she has worked as a conservative in education. She is passionate about protecting Arizona’s future, including the responsible management of our most precious resource, water. That is why she decided to run for Board of Directors of the Central Arizona Water Conservation District (CAWCD). This office was created to have publicly elected officials who represent the taxpayers of the district. Amanda wishes to fulfill this civic duty and serve the interest of the people of Maricopa County. She pledges to represent the taxpayer and to protect our allocation of the Colorado River water.
