Kelly Kirk-Xu
Kelly Kirk-Xu, Money Masters Inc, Partner/VP of Curriculum and Content Creation, calls herself “The teacher she wished she had as a kid!” By the time she’d graduated from university, Kelly had attended over 12 schools. She experienced many learning styles and uses this experience in her own classes. Kelly recently worked in Shanghai, China as a professional actress and educator. Her favorite jobs were at various education apps teaching English through interactive videos with games, songs, and quizzes. Kelly’s job was to dress up and act in front of a green screen recording these songs and videos. She saw how education can be so fun and effective when it's incorporated with interactive technology – and she carries that knowledge into financial literacy (a topic that many find to be quite boring or daunting). She’s currently co-producing an animated series, “Walter the Vault” and teaches financial literacy classes online Internationally – with the goal of helping kids understand money.
