Joy Hoover
Equipped with 17 years of marriage, 15 years of entrepreneurship, and 10 years of therapy, Joy and her husband Phil (and their fierce little ladies Vivian and Ruby) are leading a movement of humans who give a sh*t. As founder and CEO of The Cupcake Girls, a nonprofit and a social enterprise fighting sex trafficking and hidden violence, Joy led her team in building a national organization from inception to succession over the last 11+ years. The experiences of working directly with over 10,000 women and the loss of Phil’s mom, brother, and dad to intimate partner violence has developed a deep-rooted passion for driving systemic change. By building collective movements that empower folks who are often marginalized and underserved, Joy's goal is to make sure everyone has access to essential holistic resources and spaces of belonging. Joy & her family have committed their lives to ensuring safety, solidarity, and sustainable resources are available to every human, a mission they’re fulfilling next through their latest social enterprise 'esoes cosmetics'. Esoes is the first-ever personal safety smart cosmetics which include patent pending products that will be on the market in early 2023. Joy has received many awards including the 2019 Clark County Law Foundation Champion of Justice through Service, Soroptimist International of Las Vegas 2020 Ruby Award, and 2021 Vegas Inc, Women Inspiring Nevada
