Chris Perlongo
For over 20 years, Chris Perlongo has served in various positions in higher education at institutions throughout the Northeast, building a career at institutions that vary in size, location, selectivity and student demographics having held positions in admissions, athletics, resident life, and first-year instructor. As a first-generation to college student and former student-athlete, he has counseled students from around the world on admissions and financial aid while serving in enrollment at Wagner College (Staten Island, NY), American University (Washington, DC), New York University (New York, NY), Fordham University (New York, NY), Champlain College (Burlington, VT) and now as Associate Director of Admissions for Diversity and Strategic Recruitment at University of Vermont. From the New York City area, he holds degrees from Quinnipiac University (BA), Wagner College (MS) and NYU (MA), and applies his own diverse experiences to help families navigate the college process.
