Philip Fracassi
Philip Fracassi was born and raised outside Detroit, Michigan. After graduating high school he managed a band in Chicago, Illinois before moving to Los Angeles a year later to work in the film industry. During his time in Los Angeles Philip has worked in film and television production, worked as a music executive, and owned a used bookstore in Venice Beach. A lifelong writer who began writing in third grade and never stopped, he began writing screenplays in 2010 and had two movies produced, one for Disney Entertainment and one for Lifetime Television. Deciding he loved writing fiction more than movies, he focused on writing horror fiction – a passion of his since he was young – for the first time in 2015 and immediately began selling stories to magazines and anthologies. Since focusing on horror fiction, Philip has written the story collections Beneath a Pale Sky and Behold the Void and has sold several novels including A Child Alone with Strangers, Gothic, and Boys in the Valley.
