Maria Glenski
Dr. Maria Glenski is a Senior Data Scientist in the National Security Directorate at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, where she is the team lead for Computational Social Science in the Foundational Data Sciences group. She leads research in trusted and responsible AI and modelling, characterizing, and explaining complex systems and behaviors. She regularly publishes in top tier technical conferences and journals presenting her research internationally. She has co-organized workshops and sessions on topics like explainable and trustworthy AI, responsible AI evaluation, and analysis of cross-platform information spread. She has received awards and honors including outstanding reviewer and best paper awards in technical conferences, research fellowships, and as Women in AI NA 2022 AI Researcher of the Year Finalist. Dr. Glenski received her Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Notre Dame where she was an Arthur J Schmitt Leadership in Science and Engineering Fellow.
