Legin

Legin is a rapper, speaker and advocate who focuses on reconciliation and life change. Legin’s first name, Nigel, is spelled backwards because God turned his life around. That drive has taken him to perform and speak to schools, prisons, conferences, colleges and churches in the US, Kenya, South Africa, and the U.K. Legin has released several projects and singles over the years to a growing fanbase including the "Rooftop Prophet" EP (2022), "In Awe" (2021) with over 470K+ streams, and "Stop" (2022) which had a music video premiere on Revolt TV. Legin is currently working on a documentary film as well. A John Maxwell Certified speaker, Legin has visited schools, prisons, and other communities with a message of hope. Legin created a non-profit that allows him to pursue opportunities in both religious and secular contexts. Forgiving his father's absence due to drugs and alcohol right before his death, his passion is to talk about forgiveness, hope and value. Legin is also the co-founder of the Safe House Project (www.safehouseproject.org), an anti-human trafficking organization making national strides toward eradicating trafficking in America by 2030. This was born out of his passion to protect the fatherless and vulnerable. Legin resides in his childhood city of Virginia Beach, VA with his wife and two children, where his most important goal is to win the self-proclaimed "family man of the year" award.
