Richard (R.E.) Kretz
Richard Kretz resides in upper east Tennessee. He is a regionally acclaimed nature photographer, master naturalist, caver, and member of the National Speleological Society (NSS) and the prestigious Explorer’s Club. His family's masonic connection can be traced back many generations. Richard, himself, is a Past Master of a Masonic Lodge, Past Commander of a Commandery of Knights Templar, member of numerous other Masonic bodies including the Scottish Rite, Royal Order of Scotland, Red Cross of Constantine, and Rosicrucian's, and has earned the Knight York Cross of Honor (KYCH). He's also a member of several non-masonic initiatic orders. His interest and training in the occult began at a very young age. He considers meditation an integral aspect of the occult sciences. In 1974 Richard studied Transcendental Meditation under Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. Since then, he has explored various forms of meditation, the mechanics of how it works, and how to help others understand and apply it. In the spring of 2004 Richard befriended Charles Kennedy, a Native American shaman. For three years he trained with Charles high on a mountain, learning the secrets of life, death, and resurrection. Charles taught him how to find the flower of wisdom, the Holy Grail, to create the Philosophers' Stone high-up on the mountain of knowledge. Now he shares that knowledge with us.
