Carol Tanzi, ASID
Carol Tanzi, ASID, aka Goddess of Garbage, is celebrating 80 years young this year, and 50 years still working and owning a successful interior design business in the San Francisco Bay Area. Carol has designed more than a thousand environments for residential and commercial clients, earning an impressive track record for ease of collaboration with architects and contractors and most importantly, her clients call her back to update their original projects. Graduating from the University of San Jose, and working at Macy’s/San Francisco for six and half years, she made a decision to start a business. Her interior design practice has an emphasis on recycling, reusing, and repurposing. Additionally, lecturing, teaching and crafting decorative accessories for interiors and children play an important aspect of the business. This concept of design piqued her interest when it became apparent that it would allow the general public to enjoy nice environments on a budget. www.goddessofgarbage
