Chaz Gates
Chaz Gates is a co-founder and COO of Wondry Wine, a Texas family owned fruit infused wine and cream collection. As COO, Chaz is in charge of managing the company’s legal and daily winery operations of getting wine into bottles and shipped out to distributors for resale at major retailers across Texas, Arkansas, Georgia and Florida. Chaz is also a corporate attorney and serves as in-house counsel at Texas Instruments where he advises the Customer Engagements team, which involves sales, the company’s online business and global business operations. A fun fact – Chaz and his wife Whitney were recently featured on ABC’s Shark Tank where they pitched their innovative cocktail wine and cream business and secured a deal with billionaire Mark Cuban. Before his business and legal career, Chaz worked in the U.S. Congress as a legislative aid, and he has also worked and lived abroad in Shanghai, China as a lecturer at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics. He and his wife, Whitney Gates have a 23-month-old son and recently welcomed their second son last month. Chaz’s latest book recommendation is “Shoe Dog” by Phil Knight, the founder of Nike.
