Martha Parra, LCSW
Martha Parra, LCSW, CCHP is a bicultural and bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She has worked at the Department of Behavioral Health, County of San Bernardino, for the last 19 years and is currently a Mental Health Program Manager II with Adult Forensic Services. Ms. Parra received her Master’s degree in Social Work at the University of Southern California (USC), where she specialized in Community Organization Planning and Administration (COPA). She has served as an Adjunct Professor with Loma Linda University, School of Behavioral Health, Department of Social Work & Social Ecology for the past 9 years, where she teaches CRM to Master of Social Work students. Ms. Parra has extensive experience providing crisis intervention services for children, adolescents, transitional-aged youth, adults, and older adults in community centers, schools, and outpatient clinics. Her expertise is in providing clinical services and crisis stabilization for youth involved with the Juvenile Justice System, and is a Certified Correctional Health Provider. She is also a certified Immigration Evaluations Evaluator and has worked with Asylum, Hardship, Violence Against Women Act (VAWA), and Victims of Human Trafficking: T Visa. Ms. Parra is a Senior TRM and CRM trainer and has trained Spanish-speaking professionals in Guatemala, Mexico, Texas, and other Latin American Countries as well as in the US.
