Paul Lambdin
While seeking training and opportunities in the professional water-ski world, Paul Lambdin unexpectedly took a tire tech job with Goodyear Tire/Rubber Co. He had no idea that his knack for mechanical/electrical things and a love for studying, sharing, and solving those kinds of challenges would take him on a fulfilling entrepreneurial journey. After a decade of “corporate automotive,” Paul knew there was a better way and saw an opportunity to combine his passions for automotive excellence and unwavering dedication to customers. In late 1990, committed to quality service, friendliness, and professionalism, he and a partner founded Cary Car Care, a family-owned business in Cary, North Carolina, which is now in the heart of the state’s Research Triangle Park. Trust and transparency underpin the company's foundation in cultivating long-lasting relationships that have solidified its position as a go-to destination for the community’s automotive needs. When asked what Paul most enjoys about working at Cary Car Care, he replied, "I enjoy the opportunity to help people understand our world a little better, solving problems when others can’t, and making something complex, not such a big deal.” Proud father to three wonderful daughters, Paul has created a path for the next generation to build on what he’s started, making time for him to pursue his other passions of water skiing, flying tail-wheel airplanes, antiques, wood and metalworking, and many other interests!
