David Gill
Growing up in an Royal Air Force family, from an early age David was taught about the importance of service above self. Seeing first hand the work and importance of the culture of Squadron life he naturally saw a career in the Armed Forces. Securing a place at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst his dreams took an unexpected detour. A pivot into the outdoor industry and leading expeditions opened his eyes to the world. Leading client groups on expeditions across Africa, South America saw him develop skills and experience that opened doors. For several years he worked for The HALO Trust in the Caucasus and Africa on humanitarian missions before moving into the commercial sector and deployments to Afghanistan and Angola. Throughout this journey, those experiences including massive setbacks and situational awareness have allowed him to develop a deep understanding on how to apply the soft skills and nuances of dealing with different cultures and expectations into resilience protocols that can benefit any industry.
