Josh Greenbaum
Josh Greenbaum has over 30 years of experience in the industry as a computer programmer, systems analyst, author, consultant, and industry analyst. Having helped pioneer coverage of the enterprise software market in the late 1980s, he moved to Europe in 1991 and worked as an industry analyst and as European correspondent for several tech publications. These days Josh calls himself a translator: He advises vendors and customers on how to bridge the enormous gaps between how engineers think technology should work, what people expect of the technology they acquire and hope to use, and how marketers describe the intended results. Josh never reads business books: his research includes the study of anthropology, human evolution, animal behavior, and the science of river hydrology, all of which, believe it or not, somehow fit into his consulting work.
