Rob Macomber As a Sound Engineer, Rob has worked as Chief Engineer of the Music Studios at Jazz at Lincoln Center for SiriusXM Radio. He recorded, mixed and produced over 3000 live musical performances, having worked with musical giants, including Wynton Marsalis, Bobby McFerrin, Eric Clapton, Willie Nelson, Paul Simon, Sting, Beyonce, Santana, Andrea Bocelli, Chic Corea, Dave Brubeck, Lang Lang and Joshua Bell. Rob graduated with a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Composition and Orchestration at Berklee College of Music. He then enrolled in courses at The Omega Recording Studio’s School of Arts and Sciences, where he went to work as a Staff Audio Engineer. Rob is especially proud of his work as part of the audio team for the 12-12-12 Hurricane Sandy Relief Benefit Concert with The Who, Roger Waters, The Rolling Stones and Paul McCartney. Rob has recorded or mixed music for broadcasts such as the Grammy Awards, Tony Awards, MTV Video Music Awards, Country Music Awards, American Music Awards, Victoria Secret Fashion Show, Fashion Rocks, VH-1 Divas, VH-1 Storytellers, AOL Sessions, Live from Lincoln Center Series and numerous DVDs and concert films. Rob has been honored with five Grammy Awards and the 2010 Emmy Award for Best Sound Mixing for a Variety or Music Series or Special for "The 25th Anniversary Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Concert”. He currently lives in New York and is mixing music performances around the country on location or remotely.
