Toni Claire Gitles
Toni Claire Gitles earned a Master’s degree in Audiology from Northwestern University and was an instructor at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX. Her career includes working at the Texas Medical Center in Houston, working for a hearing aid and speech product equipment manufacturer, working for her father’s hearing aid manufacturing company and for a prominent hearing aid technology inventor. Toni’s positions always involved educating her clients or audience, which she does extensively today working with family caregivers and professionals in the senior market. She became interested in studying Happiness in the early 2000’s, when she learned about Positive Psychology. After taking care of her mother for 14 years, Toni saw a need to educate people about caregiving and started Heart Light Enterprises. Recently she was trained by Marci Shimoff, author of Happy for No Reason. A certified Caregiving Consultant and Happiness Trainer, Toni also facilitates caregiver support groups.
