Andrew G. Kadar, MD

Dr. Andrew G. Kadar is a physician at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, a Diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesiology, and a Fellow of the American Society of Anesthesiologists. He grew up in Los Angeles and attended UCLA, where he majored in Physics and competed for the university's Gymnastics Team. He graduated from the Yale University School of Medicine and completed his residency at Stanford and Harvard Universities (Massachusetts General Hospital). He studies Physics at UCLA and competed for the university's Gymnastics Team. Dr. Kadar studied in the UCLA Writers’ Program and the Antioch University MFA writing program. He remained athletic and was shocked when chest pain turned out to be severe heart disease. His new book is Getting Better, A Doctor's Story of Resilience, Recovery, and Renewal. He writes to share his experiences in medicine and about how lucky we are to live in the USA.
