Nicholas 'Nick' Valentino Lampson
Nicholas Valentino 'Nick' Lampson (born February 14, 1945) is an American politician from the state of Texas and was a Congressman representing the 22nd Congressional District of Texas. Lampson was also a Democratic member of the U.S. House of Representatives from Texas's 9th congressional district from 1997 to 2005. After an extremely controversial redistricting of Texas by the Republican Party which received national attention, he lost his congressional seat in 2004. In 2006 he was elected to Congress to represent the 22nd district, once represented by the former Republican Majority Leader Tom DeLay.
