Laura Calderon de la Barca
Laura Calderon de la Barca is a psychotherapist specializing in individual, intergenerational, and collective trauma and a collective healing researcher, educator, consultant, linguist, and cultural analyst. Besides her private therapeutic practice, she collaborates with the Collective Change Lab as a Senior Associate in their Healing Systems initiative, where she co-authored with John and Katherine Milligan the “Healing Systems” article published by the Stanford Social Innovation Review that has reached over 50,000 people in the 3 months since it was published. Laura has previously collaborated with research and facilitation in the Academy of Inner Science and the Pocket Project, both founded by contemporary mystic Thomas Hübl, in collective healing courses and programs, such as the Collective Trauma Summits, where she participated as a panelist and host, bringing the wisdom of Latin American voices to thousands of people in a global audience. Also in Hübl’s programs, Laura facilitated groups for Global Majority participants in the Collective Healing Journey, Trauma-Informed Leadership Course, and the 2-year Timeless Wisdom Training. She leads her “Healing from Colonialism” workshops and has offered them in Canada, Mexico, Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, and Kenya.
