Dr. Jen Mott

Dr. Jen Mott is an author, TEDx and Keynote speaker, entertainer, and educator who travels the world sharing a positive message and building relationships via a common bridge… play. Since 2006, she has been a juggler, stilt-walker, balloon artist, and fire performer in the circus. Using these skills, she demonstrates how juggling is a learning tool for everyday situations. Jen earned her Doctor of Education degree in Leadership Studies at Xavier University, Cincinnati, OH where she initiated her research on Teacher Perseverance. She continues to serve as faculty in the Educational Administration program there and recently published her first book. Teacherverance: Nurturing Hope While Embracing Perseverance in Education, based on this same research in hopes to use the veteran teacher stories to inspire and motivate educators everywhere. In partnership with Teacherverance, she also launched a picture book called Why Teaching? to inspire future generations of teachers and affirm the impact teachers have on all professions. Groups can work with Jen anytime they need help motivating their team in unique, engaging ways that incorporate juggling and/or balloon storytelling through workshops, author visits, keynote speaking, and anything else they dream up together! jenmott@theentertainingeducator.com https://www.drjenmott.com https://linkedin.com/in/jenmott https://facebook.com/jen.mott https://www.instagram.com/j.mott TED Talk: https://youtu.be/KIQpDuE54HA?si=0ZsRzc8Vs6b7NPgD
