Rachael Austin
Rachael Austin's journey is a testament to resilience and reinvention. Born in London, her early years were shaped by the serene south coast of England before her family relocated to the sun-kissed shores of Malaga, Spain. Her career in London culminated in six dynamic years at MTV Europe. In 1999, driven by an adventurous spirit, Rachael embarked on a transformative journey through Australia and Southeast Asia before settling in New York City in 2000. However, the tragic events of 9/11 deeply impacted her, prompting a soul-searching quest for solace. This quest led Rachael to Portland, Oregon, where she embraced a new path in massage therapy, graduating in 2004. Her passion for holistic wellness continued to blossom, culminating in her training as a Yoga Teacher in 2015. Yet, Rachael's journey was not without its trials. In 2013, she faced a life-altering brain aneurysm and stroke. However, from the depths of adversity emerged a newfound purpose as she discovered the transformative power of chair yoga, guiding others on their paths to recovery. Today, Rachael Austin stands as a beacon of inspiration and resilience. In Ajijic, Mexico, she founded a thriving wellness collective, blending her expertise in massage therapy and yoga to create a nurturing sanctuary for wellness seekers. Through compassionate care, Rachael continues to inspire others, guiding them towards wholeness and vitality. RachaelAustin68@gmail.com
