Fireworks Productions of Arizona has been serving the communities of the state for over 70 years with exciting, safe, aerial fireworks displays. Since 1997, FPA has been owned by Kerry and Lori Welty. In that time, they built the company to be the premier provider to the state’s colleges, professional sports teams, private events and 4th of July celebrations across Arizona. As part of Kerry and Lori’s commitment to safety in the industry, FPA also provides resources and training to the various AHJ’s (Authority Having Jurisdiction) who oversee the safe presentations of all displays. Having spent 13 years as one of the company’s part-time Head Pyros, Kendon Victor came on full-time in 2003 to be FPA’s Pyro Planning Specialist. Long before taking that role for FPA, Kendon Victor loved to help people have fun and entertaining experiences. His background in theater and video production were a perfect match-up for using fireworks to help people celebrate important events in their lives. The full-time team of seven employees at FPA along with its cadre of part-time Head Pyros work in all conditions (especially the heat) to help Arizona’s residents enjoy the thrill and magic of the tradition of fireworks celebrations.
