Talent manager, agent, casting director, producer and packaging agent with over 20 years of entertainment industry experience. Whitaker has expertise in managing, casting, packaging, producing, leadership, finance, legal, sales, negotiating and more. She has the ability of recognizing trends and packaging scripted and unscripted series to all the distribution platforms, as well as packaging feature films. As President and CEO of Whitaker Entertainment, a talent management and production company she specializes in the management of actors, writers and producers for feature films, television, commercials and theatre (both on and off Broadway). She has negotiated many series regular deals with such networks as ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, CW, UPN, TNT, HBO, Showtime, Comedy Central, MTV, and Warner Brothers. She has also negotiated major film deals with all of the major film studios. Ms. Whitaker has been instrumental in discovering and developing talent and one actor who just this past June is starring in THE BOOK OF MORMON on Broadway, and another who is a series regular on the new CW series, THE OUTPOST. Her talent have appeared regularly on television shows (many Emmy nominated) such as: Life in Pieces, Silicon Valley, Grey’s Anatomy, Code Black, Angie Tribeca, The Big Bang Theory, Modern Family, Criminal Minds:Beyond Borders, The Last Ship, The Walking Dead, No Tomorrow, Granite Flats, Seinfeld and many others. As a conscientious manager, Whitaker has developed marketing and publicity campaigns for many of her clients. She has a keen sense of ferreting out business opportunities to keep her clients in the spotlight… for instance, she helped to conceive and develop a line of soups for her client Larry Thomas who was nominated for an Emmy for his role as the famous “Soup Nazi” on “Seinfeld”
