Dr. Pearl Ketover Prilik
Dr. Pearl Ketover Prilik is a psychoanalyst and published nonfiction author of Stepmothering Another Kind Of Love, Becoming An Adult Stepchild, and her dissertation The Relationship Between Adolescent Exposure to Violence and Principled Moral Judgment Reasoning. She has been an editor/creator/participant of international and poetry collections: Prompted, An International Collection of Poems; Beyond The Dark Room, An International Collection of Transformative Poetry, and editor of a post-doctoral newsletter. Her free verse, rhyming and haiku poetry and short prose have been published in on-line and print literary journals including Burningword Literary Journal, Haiku Journal, individual collections: Rachmones, Poems of Compassion; Gobsmacked, Poems of Wonder and Astonishment; and anthologies Bards Annual, Poetry 2016–2024, and Poetry, It's A Shore Thing in an Unsure World. Her poem The Inevitable Creep of the Tide won second place in the 2024 Nassau County Poet Laureate Society Poetry Contest.
