Karen Smith-Racicot
Karen Smith-Racicot is a co-owner of Three Widows, LLC. She is co-author of the upcoming book, “Widows Among Us: Stories to Prepare, Be and Help a Widow” and author of “I Didn’t See That Coming”, which includes worksheets to help organize and record information from important legal, financial and insurance documents. Karen graduated from Shepherd University in West Virginia. She was a co-owner of a tax and accounting business with her late husband for 20 years, and co-owner of a financial coaching business. Karen’s journey through widowhood included finding her confidence and her voice by beginning to take responsibility for her choices. She became president of a local organization and enjoys public speaking, especially about the subject of being prepared for an unexpected life event. She enjoys quilting and traveling, especially camping in the US National Parks. www.threewidows.com
