Simon J. A. Meitz
Simon J. A. Meitz is the Head of Strategy for Circular Economy and Production Systems at roeren. As Founding Member and part of the Advisory Board of Sym he helps create a sustainable, regional ecosystem. Previously, at EY, he co-founded EYCarbon and served on the Steering Committee for EY Sustainability Europe West, shaping ESG strategies across regions. As COO of EY SPARK, he developed an in-house accelerator for technology innovation. With over 15 years of experience in strategy and transformation, Simon has worked in consulting and industry roles across Europe and the Middle East. He has also participated in high-level political delegations on digitalization and decarbonization, most recently invited by the president of Kazakhstan to speak at Carbon Neutrality Summit in Nur-Sultan. He has studied Business Mathematics, and Law and Economics at University of Eichstaett, Augsburg and LSE (London), and graduated with magna cum laude (dipl. iur. oec. univ.) in 2006.
