Adam Thompson
Adam Thompson is IBM's Global Sustainable Finance and ESG Offering Leader; having worked in over 50+ countries, and having seen first-hand the destruction that climate change has caused across the globe. Outside of IBM, Adam is an EU Climate Pact Ambassador for Germany, Advisory Board Member for the Ocean Frontier Institute, Wild Water Kayaker and Bee Keeper when time permits. Consequently, locally Adam is known as the Tarzan of the Bavarian Forest, where he has spent the last 2 decades supporting Climate Action related initiatives to support positive impact across all the dimensions of People, Planet, Prosperity and Purpose. Indeed, Adam has various Technology related Patents, e.g. Quantification of Carbon Sequestration in the Oceans, to support accelerating the adoption of solutions in an open-ecosystem, that have positive global impact. For Adam, Sustainability isn't just a nice to have, but rather a must – “be the change that you wish to see in the world” (Gandhi).
