Andy Sharpe
Andy Sharpe founded SongDivision in 2003, believing that life, business and events are better with music. A native Australian, Andy began writing songs at age six. As a teenager, he joined a band, writing and performing in and around Sydney. Sealing a record deal with AC/DC’s label, his band spent several years recording and touring in the UK. Andy returned to Australia, joining IBM's Global Financing division where he built solid business acumen, earning an MBA along the way. Still active as a professional songwriter during this time, he continued working with leading Australian artists and on global advertising campaigns. After being asked to oversee songwriting workshops for indigenous teenagers by Yothu Yindi - Australia's preeminent indigenous band, Andy knew there was a bigger place for music at events and founded Song Division. He now leads a team of world-class musicians and facilitators, working with the largest brands and multinationals to communicate key messages and build corporate culture through music.
