Connie Feda
Connie Feda is an entrepreneur, parent of a child with a disability, and co-founder of Cookie Cookie Ice Cream Company (CCIC) in Kennedy Township in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Her experiences navigating the logistical bureaucracy of social services as an advocate for her daughter drove her to advocate for the community at large. She developed Cookie Cookie Ice Cream's job training as an individual-focused program designed to discover and foster each participant's strengths and prepare them for work not just at CCIC but at any future job. Connie believes in the dignity of work, the importance of recognition and inclusion in the community, and a darn good chocolate chip cookie.
