Joan DelFattore
Joan DelFattore is a professor emerita at the University of Delaware. Her articles about singlist bias in American healthcare have appeared in the New England Journal of Medicine, the Washington Post, Psychology Today, and The Health Psychologist, among others. She also gave a TEDx talk, “Sick While Single? Don’t Die of Discrimination.” Her current project is a book on healthcare inequity related to marital status, under contract with Yale University Press.
