Dr. Jeff Radford
With over 30 years of experience in healthcare and 20 years in leadership, Dr. Radford currently serves as a Regional Vice President for Select Medical, overseeing 9 hospitals within the Critical Illness Recovery division. His journey in healthcare began with a strong clinical foundation, earning both an associate's and bachelor's degree in nursing. Recognizing the importance of business acumen in healthcare leadership, Dr. Radford pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and furthered his expertise with a Doctorate in Strategic Leadership. Throughout his career, Dr. Radford has witnessed the profound impact that compassionate, empathetic leadership has on both patient outcomes and team performance. This inspired him to found Mercy Speaks, where he advocates for Merciful Leadership—a leadership style rooted in empathy, compassion, and understanding. Dr. Radford believes these principles are not only vital to fostering high-performing teams but are also essential in addressing the complex challenges faced in today's healthcare environment.
