Asha Farrah is an expat and legal resident in Santiago de Queretaro, Mexico. Originally from Harlem, NYC, she has traveled to nearly 30 countries and 5 continents. Asha always desired to travel the world and live abroad. Daydreaming about speaking different languages, having unique culinary experiences, and creating memorable adventures felt exciting. After traveling to nearly a third of Mexico over the last 15 years, her decision on which country she would expatriate to was pretty easy. Being intentional about what she wanted in her new location helped her place importance on the things that mattered most. Asha challenges retirees to be deliberate about every detail of the life they envision from their desired landscape, weather preferences, culture, and more. She observed that while there was information online that showcased the highlight reel of expat life, there wasn't anything that focused on the logistical steps to initiate the process.
