Josef Wagner
Josef Wagner is currently Vice President Body Engineering at EDAG Engineering GmbH in Munich, Leipzig and Regensburg. He has 13 years of management experience in the automotive industry, as well as many years of experience in project management and project work. His high technical expertise in fiber composite lightweight design led him to various roles in the development of cars like the BMW i3, the BMW i8 roadster or the McLaren Speedtail. Before moving to the automotive industry in 2004, he earned his diploma in mechanical engineering with his thesis at Airbus Ottobrunn in 2003. During his studies, he acquired a broad knowledge of mechanics, industrial production, aircraft development and automobile development with a focus on CFRP.
