Dr. Kerry Forrestal, MD
Dr. Kerry Forrestal, MD was first introduced to the field of medicine in 1979 at age 16 with his local American Legion Ambulance. When he was 18, he became one of the youngest people to be certified as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) in New York up to that time. He attended Binghamton University (then SUNY Binghamton), earning a Bachelor of Science degree with dual majors in Biology and Psychology, which he followed with a Masters in Business Administration. During this time, he also trained to the level of Advanced Emergency Medical Technician, Level III. Upon completion of his Masters, he attended Stony Brook Medical School, with Residency at Thomas Jefferson University in Philly and he now works in emergency medicine. Kerry has written a book on cancer care, a science fiction novel and a play that won 4 TANYS – Theatre Association of New York State Awards.
